We have had the good fortune to enjoy generous patronage and support for many years. Now we’re going to ask for a little more.

You probably know that even a sell-out of tickets at a reasonable price can never cover the costs of a performance.

We have an ambitious and attractive programme for 2011 – our 29th year as the Chorale – and we have to anticipate total venue, professional and production costs in the order of £25,000 for our three principal performances.

Set this against the £15,500 we might make if we sold every single ticket for full price and there is our problem.

So here’s the plan: We’d like to raise at least £10,000 during 2011. Ambitious? Certainly, but with your help we can do it.

To get things moving on March 1st 2011, we’re offering all Friends complimentary refreshments at the Dydd Gwyl Dewi evening at the London Welsh Centre.

 We have introduced three types of Friends Membership and levels of donation for 2011:
          Supporter             £50
          Associate              £100
          Benefactor            £250 and over

 Other benefits for 2011 include:

• A £5 discount for up to two tickets per concert for our own concerts

• A free programme for our concerts

• Acknowledgement of your support as Supporter, Associate or Benefactor in every programme and on the website

• Two free tickets for Friends who encourage someone else to become a Friend

• Two free tickets for a successful introduction to a LW Camerata engagement
