The Chorale has for many years enjoyed the support of a wide group of Friends of the Chorale. For £50 per year a Friend will receive one free ticket for every concert.  In a typical year that would mean three major choral works concerts, and a “repertoire” concert.  In addition all Friends will be listed in concert programmes.  Finally, we hope to arrange an annual Friends social event with the Chorale, and who knows – we might even sing for you!

It is with great sadness that the Chorale marks the passing of Aeronwy Thomas-Ellis. Aeronwy, the only daughter of Dylan and Caitlin Thomas, was a fervent supporter of the Chorale, and took an active and generous role in promoting the choir at every opportunity. She performed readings of her own and her father's poems at a number of our concerts and the choir was proud to be invited to sing at Westminster Abbey in 2003, to commemorate 50 years since her father's death. Aeronwy was a Vice President of the friends and her husband Trefor is a longstanding member of the Chorale. Aeronwy will be sorely missed by us all.
