Formed in 2002, the London Welsh Camerata is a group of experienced singers drawn from the membership of the London Welsh Chorale. The Camerata performs at special occasions such as weddings, parties and carol services in London and the Home Counties, to raise funds to support the main work of the Chorale. Repertoire ranges from traditional hymns, carols and folk songs, to sacred music by Bach, Fauré, Handel, Mendelssohn  & Mozart. In particular, of course, it features music by Welsh composers or those with Welsh connections – sung in both Welsh and English. We are always happy to discuss repertoire and help organisers plan the musical aspects of their special occasions (see Short Items for ideas). The Camerata is available for evening and weekend events all year round.
